KUBTEC SCIENTIFIC

KUBTEC Scientific, a minority woman-owned company founded in 2005, headquartered in Stratford, Connecticut, is a progressive research and technology company dedicated to designing innovative and proprietary tools that include digital cabinet X-ray imaging and irradiator systems.

Our diverse range of applications includes life sciences imaging and irradiation for small animals and cells, agricultural and forestry sciences imaging, and other industrial applications developed for academic, government and industrial institutions.

A Smarter Approach to Seed Analysis
Traditional seed testing methods can be slow, costly, and wasteful. XSEED® Imaging Systems combine high-resolution X-ray imaging capability with software designed for seed and agriculture analysis to streamline seed quality control and advance agricultural research. From evaluating seed viability to predicting germination potential, XSEED provides researchers and seed producers with reliable, high-resolution imaging for faster, better-informed decision-making.
Optimize Quality Assessment
Evaluate embryo development and endosperm completeness for faster determination of seed quality and viability, prior to germination.
Conserve Seeds
Examine internal morphology with non-destructive analysis in fully intact seeds.
Save Time, Stay in Budget
Detect irregularities and reveal infestation before significant seed or plant loss is realized.
Increase Productivity
Assess seeds faster than with traditional testing methods (e.g. Tetrazolium Chloride or germination) with immediate X-ray imaging and intuitive software.
Streamline Workflow
Test in the field; install XSEED in a mobile lab, requiring nothing more than standard power supply, for ultimate efficiency.

DIGIMUS® BMD

Analysis Software
DIGIMUS® software allows our high-resolution X-ray platforms to measure BMD and Body Composition using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA, DEXA) and single-energy X-ray absorptiometry (SXA, SEXA) technologies.
DIGIMUS automatically calculates Bone Mineral Density (BMD), Bone Mineral Content (BMC) and the percentage of lean and fat tissue for both region of interest (ROI) or whole body.
With BMD/BMC results ready in under 1 minute, DIGIMUS is fully automatic, simple to use, and available on Kubtec PARAMETER and XPERT Platforms.
We have taken our software past PIXImus with the automatic exclusion of surgical pins, metallic ear tags, and wound closure clamps from the global BMD and Body Composition measurements
