Seed Research, Analysis, and Quality Control

Imaging seed has never been easier. When checking to see whether your seed has a viable, intact embryo in the seed case or not, utilizing a KUBTEC cabinet X-ray system will provide you with high-resolution digital images in seconds.

KUBTEC cabinet X-ray systems to analyze growth, viability, development, damage in the seeds. The system is used by Botanical gardens, Seed Producers and Forestry services to inspect seed health.

DIGIMUS® BMD
​
Analysis Software
DIGIMUS® software allows our high-resolution X-ray platforms to measure BMD and Body Composition using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA, DEXA) and single-energy X-ray absorptiometry (SXA, SEXA) technologies.
DIGIMUS automatically calculates Bone Mineral Density (BMD), Bone Mineral Content (BMC) and the percentage of lean and fat tissue for both region of interest (ROI) or whole body.
With BMD/BMC results ready in under 1 minute, DIGIMUS is fully automatic, simple to use, and available on Kubtec PARAMETER and XPERT Platforms.
We have taken our software past PIXImus with the automatic exclusion of surgical pins, metallic ear tags, and wound closure clamps from the global BMD and Body Composition measurements
